One of my greatest thrift finds. We have a love hate relationship. I love them, then i eventually fall off of them and then shove them into the closet for six months.
It is always a pleasure to see a sight like this at the end of a nice day out in the field. This was taken near the Trona Pinnacles in California.
This is my godson Snorri, he came for a visit yesterday with his mother.
He is such a cheerful child, always smiling :)

Serbian nationalist and religious celebration on St. Vitus day in Gazimestan. The guy is one of the bodyguards of the Serbian pseudo-royal couple, descendants of monarchs of almost a hundred years ago.
The place is better known as Kosovo Polje, the battlefield where the Ottoman army defeated the Serbs in 1389 (and Milosevic started the countdown to the Balkan wars in 1989.)

There was a whole line of dhows anchored inside Bombay harbour near a lane of fishing nets being worked by Kolis in their boats. This one looked picturesque and abandoned.
